Culinary Vision Consulting was founded by two partners with a shared mission: to empower small restaurant owners with the vision and tools to build a thriving business. Our story is rooted in decades of hands-on experience in both the kitchen and the boardroom.

When Joel Sigel, our CEO, joined a minor league baseball team, he took their Food and Beverage department from an underperforming operation to one of the most profitable in the league. In just two years, Joel’s leadership increased sales by over $350,000 and reduced food costs to a record-breaking 22%.

This hands-on success is the culmination of a career that spans from earning a degree at Le Cordon Bleu to managing operations for a multi-location franchise. Joel's proven ability to optimize operations and drive profitability is the bedrock of our company.

Tom Wyler, our CMO, brings a wealth of marketing and brand-building expertise to the table. With a professional career spanning 25 years as a videographer, editor, and marketing director, Tom has a unique talent for brand building and awareness. He has experience developing marketing departments and leading national and regional TV commercial campaigns. As the owner of Wyler BBQ, a successful catering and concession business, he also has firsthand experience building a culinary brand from the ground up.
